The day is coming! Daisuke Ishiwatari, the director the Guilty Gear series, has finally resolved the legal issues that kept him from the production of a new game. Ishiwatari told Gamasutra at TGS(Tokyo Game Show); “I’d be lying if I said there were no problems at all, but much of that has been cleared away since. There’s no impediment to making it now.”In the mean time fans everywhere will have to settle for the lovely BlazBlue franchise, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing considering it did carry over some of Guilty Gear’s features but it is its own game. Final Fantasy Type-0(zero) has been released in Japan, no date for North America yet but one can only hope it will be soon. For those that are unfamiliar with this title, here is a quick break down. A peace treaty is supposed to be in effect with the world’s four countries, but Cid Aulstyne has sent his soldiers to war with the neighboring countries in order to gain their crystals. Now the twelve, that’s right, twelve, heroes have a quest. At one point the game had a different title, Agito XIII, but since it didn’t have much to do with Final Fantasy XIII, they decided to change it. Although the game does not have “XIII” in the title, it still implements the Fabula Nova Crystallis mythology. So curious about the intro? check it out here, but be warned, the video is in Japanese and has no translation, it still looks bad ass though.
Monster Hunter Tri G is being ported over to the 3ds, why not the psp? The Wii version was released back in 2009, it would seem the game is more popular in Japan. In my opinion, I don’t think the franchise gets enough exposure in North America, so if you like such games as Demon Souls and the recent sequel, Dark Souls, then Monster Hunter is for you. With that said, here is the new trailer. Enjoy! click me
