Dragon Age is a very popular video game that has made its way into various media outlets, such as, comics, action figures, and the Facebook game. Now it is making its way as an animated movie. Funimation announced at AnimeFest that they are working closely with Bioware and EA on this project. Not much information has been released on the plot, but what they did release was a teaser trailer and an inside look on the concept art. Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker is scheduled for 2012, sadly for now one must lust over the game for now in hopes of finding that satisfaction of fulfillment. (more…)
I look forward to AnimeFest all year because while smaller compared to AKon, for some reason the crowd at AnimeFest just seems vastly different. Held at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Dallas, the convention was stuffed with people of all shapes and sizes, including some very lost looking LSU fans! I definitely tried to go to as many panels as possible AND speak to as many cosplayers, con goers, randoms…Hell, I even talked to a couple who were at the hotel for dinner and got caught up in the craziness! Four days of non stop action was tough on us all but I had an absolute BLAST!
Please don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube where all of the footage we shot will be up soon!
That being said, let us commence with the recap!
These are not in any particular order!
Monster Hunter : White Fatalis
This dragon is a combination of the lighting and dragon elements. It is intimidating in size and on top of that when it attacks it means almost certain death, so make sure to gear up properly. Good luck!

A few videos for the “leaked” characters Nemesis and Dr. Strange have come out today! Nemesis looks like a tank and Dr. Strange looks like he has all sorts of shenanigans!
This first video starts off by showing off a few of the characters already in MvC3 and highlights a few new moves given to them. For example, She-Hulk can now hit people with a lamp post. Success. Half way through the video is when Dr. Strange and Nemesis make their first appearance.
Hit the jump to see full gameplay videos of the new characters. EDIT – I also have screen shots and artwork of the new characters for you to enjoy

What does this mean, comic readers? This means a LOT of your favorite characters’ backstories will change and some titles will be canceled altogether come September. I will provide you with quick little summaries of each of the 52 titles as well as links where you can read more about the relaunch. Most comic book shops are also providing a free little booklet with a breakdown as well in case you want to stop by and pick one up to have on hand. Why is DC doing this you might ask? (more…)
Book3: Fighter’s Destiny
Once again Udon has done a great job on the artwork. Every page explodes with vibrant colors and extreme amounts of detail. The third book focuses more on the characters, T.Hawk, and Ryu. Over all I found this issue to be dull, but it does have its moments where things get intense.
Ryu has finally made it to the temple where Sagat is training. Dhalsim, the yoga master that trained Sagat, decides to test Ryu to see if he is there for the right reasons or is just focused on (more…)
